Blinded

I was on my way alone for lunch yesterday and saw a young man spotting a black T-Shirt with big bold red and white lettering…“The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.”

If you look at the surface, this young man is just like another street bum. Dirty, dishevelled, most probably a homeless man on the street. But if you look carefully, the writing on his T-shirt has such a powerful and profound message to us all.  It really made an impact to me and I can’t stop thinking about it for the most part of what’s remaining of yesterday. Later, I found out that it was one of Helen Keller’s quote.

So many things we can learn from this short encounter, but the most important lesson for me is not to be blinded from the inside.
